1. Introduction
Nepal Film Society (NFS) is going to organize Global Nepali Film Award (GNFA) 2016 in Denver, Colorado, USA on November 12, 2016 in partnership with America Nepal Television (ANTV),BRT Nepal ,com USA. NFS is a non-profit making social group comprising prominent celebrities and soical leaders who are dedicated for promoting Nepali art, culture and literatue at the international areana thorugh Nepali films. NFS is guided by a spirit of "Nepali films from village to globe" in all its activities. NFS performs its programs in collaboration and partnerhip with individuals and agenice at government, inter-government, non government and corporate level. NFS's key activities include to organize national and international film festivals; conduct seminars and workshops related to films; design and manage campains, fairs and events; undertake research and studies on Nepali art, culture and literatur; provide inputs to government of Nepal and other stake holders for appropriate policies, laws and programs for the development of Nepali films, among others. Most not ably, NFS has been organizing Kathmandu International Film Festival (KIFF) in Nepal every year since 2014. America Nepal Television (ANTV) was established four years ago with the aim of developing and promoting Nepali language and culture in the northern America particularly in USA. Since its inception, ANTV has been proving relevant information, literature, news and entertainment in Nepali language. GNFA is being organized with the message and slogan of Nepali Films ”village to globe”. The key objective of the GNFA is to make Nepali films known to the international audience and strengthen ties of Nepali films with the Nepali people residing in the USA. USA has been a growing destination of Nepali people over the period and this will be continued in the months and years to a large extent. NFS strongly belives that GNFA would greatly contribute to expand business of Nepali films in the USA with the increased number of Nepali people and thier promotional activities.

2. Program
Global Nepali Film Award will cover only popular segments for this year. The ANTV will felicitate to distinguished cine professionals with International Achievement Award. The Nepali cine artistes living in USA will be participating in this event.
